Basic
White Bread
Ingredients:
• 3 1/4 cup Hockley Valley Premium Light Spelt Flour
• 2 teaspoons instant yeast
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1-1/3 cup Warm water
Instructions:
• Whisk together water, yeast and sugar let sit for five minutes.
• Combine flour and salt. Add water and yeast mixture slowly until combined and smooth adding flour if necessary until the dough
no longer sticks to the sides of your mixer when turning.
• Remove and place in greased bread pan 9” by 5” cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 to 45 minutes.
• Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit.
• Remove plastic wrap before placing in oven. For a nice soft crust that won’t flake when you cut it brush with melted butter.
• Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
